The room motion and light intensity sensor KYMASGARD® RBLF-FSE is a batteryless and maintenance-free radio transmitter. Energy is generated by conversion of indoor room light into electric energy by means of a solar cell, which is stored in capacitors. These sensors are used to control lighting units semi or fully automatically as well as for presence detection of persons and to transmit the measurand via radio frequency to radio actuators ⁄ gateways. They are applied for switching and controlling of power consumers (such as, for example, lighting, louvers, actuator drives) e.g. in offices, business, school, and conference rooms. RBLF-FSE has two operating modes with altogether 5 channels. Channels 1 and 3 evaluate the presence dependent on the actual brightness measured, channels 2 and 4 evaluate presence only, and channel 5 transmits a data telegram of all information.
