The self-calibrating microprocessor-controlled AERASGARD® KLQ-CO2 is a CO2 and mixed gas measuring instrument, which is used for the detection of air quality and/or the CO2 content in air within a range of 0 ppm to 2000 ppm CO2. It is optionally available with or without display. The measurement signals are converted into standard signals of 0 – 10 V. Optional, this device is also available with switching output, a display, or with a combination of various output variants. The CO2 content in the air is determined by a NDIR sensor (non-dispersive infrared technology sensor) measurement range 0 … 2000 ppm CO2, the air quality by means of a mixed gas sensor / VOC sensor (volatile organic compounds), measurement range 0 – 100 % air quality. The detection range of the sensor is calibrated for standard applications such as monitoring of apartment rooms or meeting rooms. Room ventilation on an as-needed basis, improvement of well-being and customer benefit, increased comfort as well as a reduction of operating costs by saving energy are only some the beneficial results of employing AERASGARD® KLQ-CO2 sensors.
